Posthumously, I nominated Jethro Pugh, Big # 75 of the Dallas Cowboys, the National Football League (NFL), for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame (2020-2021). As an outstanding NFL defensive tackle, Jethro was the "Mainstay" of the "Dallas Cowboys Doomsday Legendary Defense" for 14 seasons (1965-1978).

He played college football during the 1960s at Elizabeth City State College (ECSC), Elizabeth City, North Carolina.

I remember jethro as one of the integral pieces to the doomsday defense from the time I was a young boy to when I was a young man! What a complete player, teammate and most important a great human being the Dallas cowboys got when they drafted him so long ago.i was shocked to see the Lord take him at such a young age,but Heaven didn't get a good DT,they got a great one! he will be missed.Sincerely,Pete Stanakis,Cowboy fan for life
