Jewel Ham

Jewel Ham, 85, of Margerum, Alabama, died Monday, August 23, 2004, at her residence. She was a member of Margerum Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading and working puzzles.

Visitation is scheduled for 6:00 until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 24, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 25, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Bro. Cecil Denton, Bro. Kevin Lindsey, and Bro. Jimmy Hayes. Interment will follow in Margerum Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Jeff Hayes, Ronnie Hayes, Jimmy Hayes, Jay Hayes, Wesley Remkus, and Bennie McCullar.

Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements.

Survivors include 4 sons, James Ham and wife, Diane, of Margerum, AL, Tim Ham of Margerum, AL, Dwight Ham of Margerum, AL, and Jeff Ham and wife, Stacy, of Barton, AL; 4 daughters, Rose Hayes and husband, Jimmy, of Margerum, AL, Christine Ham of Margerum, AL, Carolyn McVay and husband, Gene, of Iuka, MS, and Anna Ham of Sheffield, AL; 6 sisters, Lula Powell of Aiken, SC, Jonnie Hornsby of Aiken, SC, Bernice Nunley of Iuka, MS, Billie Thompson of Leesburg, FL, Dale Varnum of Leesburg, FL, and Betty McGraw of Iuka, MS; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Ham; and a son, William Harold Ham.
