Not sure what to say?

Dear Sharon, Gary and Nancy,
How shocked we were to learn of your mother's death! Our hearts are saddened by this terrible loss. After seeing Jewel in November, looking so well, this is so difficult to comprehend.
Words cannot convey our sympathy, but, please know that we are thinking of you and embracing you with " long distance" hugs.
With Love,
Davida and Joel Berman

Sharon, Gary & Nancy,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. The thought, though, of our Dad & your Dad cracking jokes & making my Mom & your Mom laugh brings a smile to our lips. My sisters and I just talked about trying to get our parents to behave in shul - usually, it's the other way around. So many funny memories.
Please know that our thoughts are with you & your family.
All our love,
Nancy, Geri, & Suzi, and all of our etcs.

Sharon,
I am truly sorry for the loss of your mother. I believe it was last passover that I celebrated with nearby friends and being surprised to meet Jewel (again) at the sedar....she had a delightful smile and that twinkle in her eye. Next time Deneb and I see you in Pikesville, I have a gi-nourmous hug waiting for you.
With Love,

Sharon,
Paul emailed me today about your Mother. So sorry for your loss. Great Mothers come once in a lifetime

Thinking of you

Dear cousins Gary and Sharon,

Every Shabbat I wear the Tallit clips of your father and I remember the moment your mother gave them to me. Now to I will remember your mother - always. She was a MOST wonderful, kind and loving person - a real Jewel in our lives.

How often do any of us come to even know, much less love, the mother-in-law of an old friend? One who lives states away, no less. But Jewel's very, very rare gift for offering an immediate sense of belonging and reflexive affection to any of us who love her kids (and very likely, to any of us at all) could incite no other possible response. Gary, Sharon, Nancy--and other family and close friends I've not met--We know too well by now that there is nothing to be said so soon. I wish I were...

Jewel and I went to Commerce High School together. I remember her as a sweet and giving person. We send our condolences to her family.

Dearest Sharon and Family,

My love for Jewel, and Bernie, are never ending. Their love and kindness will always be part of my wonderful memories of my life in Baltimore. My love and prayers are with you all.

Jewel and I went through school together in Worcester, MA. We were classmates and friends at Granite Street School,Providence Street Jr. High and Commerce High School. We saw her last at the "Sole Proprietor" in Worcester with her daughter celebrating an aunt's birthday. She was the same "Jewel" that I remember. Peter and I send our condolences.
