Jiji Sassoon Obituary
March 23, 1953 - July 3, 2021
Hollywood, Florida - Jiji Sassoon of Hollywood Beach passed away on July 3rd. Born in New Brunswick Canada, Jiji Sassoon received her Bachelors Degree from the Beaux Art in Montreal. Jiji moved to Miami Beach in the late seventies, married Phillip Sassoon and had two children Shane Sassoon and Klay Sean Sassoon. Jiji was known for 2 significant works of art the "Lips" mural in Montreal (Jeanne Mance St & President Kennedy Ave) and the "Tropical Wildlife" painting she was commissioned for at the Main Bar of Mango's Tropical Cafe. Jiji was a gentle soul with a huge heart. She was passionate about her love of animals. Whether is was saving sea turtles, training dogs, or rescuing animals in danger, Jiji always recognized the value in all living things. Jiji is survived by her ex-husband Phillip Sassoon, son Sean Sassoon, and Grandson Zeek Zambory. Celebration of her life will be held Friday July 9th at 10:00am at Menorah Gardens in Southwest Ranches.

I JUST FOUND OUT .... OH ... I'M SOOO TERRIBLY SORRY AND SHOCKED TO LEARN OF JIJI'S PASSING ! ONE GREAT MEMORY WAS HALLOWEEN TIME WHEN I DRESSED UP MY KIDS, AND MY HUSBAND AND WE DROVE DOWN, IN COSTUME, TO PHIL / JIJI'S HOME ON STAR ISLAND, MIAMI ... WE HAD SUCH A FUN TIME. OR WHEN THE SASSOON FAMILY WOULD VISIT US IN CLEARWATER, FL IN THE LATE 1970'S ... ONE OF MANY BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES ! OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO SEAN AND PHIL. MAY JIJI REST IN PEACE ... AMEN ! OUR LOVE, RUTH & JACK BECKER
