Before the Big Camping Weekend 1985 Saint Cloud State University Jill, unknown, Ginny Hedstrom (aka Virginia Hedstrom Ferlet)

I was digging around in some old photos and found this picture of Jill and me. It's a picture of early spring in 1985. We are at college and about to take a camping trip with a bunch of people. We hopped on some motorcycles (yes I know! we did that! naught naughty us) and head out a small wooded area not too far away. We brought sub sandwiches for the whole weekend, yes that was the extent of our planning. In the morning we had bread and potato chip sandwiches around the fire. Jill was so...

Thinking of Jill yet again. It's almost Halloween and to tell you the truth Fall always reminds me of college and Jill was a big part of my college life. I miss her. I can't be sad each time I think of her because she was such a happy person. She most likely wouldn't want me to be sad when I think of her. So today I'll tell you a fun Jill story. I'm thinking of my college dorm door...and Jill. I almost got kicked out of my dorm because of that door. Here's the story: Jill and I moved into...

Hello. Thinking of Jill again after I came across yet another college photo. Many of her Anoka high school friends on facebook have numerous memories of Jill! Miss you Jill! Ginny Hedstrom Ferlet. [email protected]

Remembering Jill Baumer today - we still miss you and treasure our moments spent here on earth. But we know we will see you up yonder sometime, Jill! Hugs

Dear Jeff and Children,

Hello. I was a friend of Jill's in high school and we became good friends our first year of college. We even went on a camping trip together where all we had to eat for breakfast was the left over submarine sandwiches we had the night before! But no worries Jill just laughed and made due. Here ia a picture I came across the other day. I am sorry I didn't know Jill had passed away until last year. She was a bright and wonderful person.

Dear Jeff, Alyssa and Vail - though time has passed we still continue to treasure in our hearts the fond memories of Jill and her sweet nature. I hope you know that we will always think of her every time we see a cardinal bird or hear their song. It hardly seems possible that it's been a year. We hold you close and pray for your comfort and courage. Let us be reminded that the Lord God is near and at work, even in the middle of missing Jill's presence here on earth. But we can be comforted...

Dear Jeff, Alyssa, and Vail - Words cannot even begin to express how shocked and saddened we are to learn about Jill's passing (It is April 7th - just found out from the Lewis family). We really enjoyed you as our neighbors and have many happy memories of Jill's wonderful sense of humor (especially at our dessert with Santa party) and the many play dates with Kayla and Alyssa. As your hearts feel empty, filling them with happy memories can help. We wish you and the kids strength and peace...
