Praise God! I love this obituary and tribute to not only Jill and her loving parents, children, grandchildren but to God, who stands waiting to welcome us back to Him with open arms! I had the privilege to work along side Jill for 13 years and agree that she always gave her all to her coworkers and clients! I am confident we will meet again and there will be no tears only the joy of our Lord, his gift of new life and eternal joy! I´m looking forward to our reunion!

I worked with Jill years ago . She was my right hand nurse! We had desks next to each other and would laugh and sometimes cry about life. I was there at her first cancer diagnosis and not only did her and my Grandma go through cancer at the same time -they shared a bond I will never forget. Even sharing a little charm Jill was a remarkable nurse and friend . So sorry for your loss -she was definitely someone you would never forget

My mother, Jann Van Stedum, named me after her sister Jill. I remember Aunt Jill most vividly during my childhood summers when we would travel to Michigan to visit our grandparents and extended family. Those memories of campfires, trips on the pontoon boat and playing with my cousins in the beautiful pine forests and sand dunes that surround Croton will always be happy ones. Sending love and sympathy to my Uncle Mike, and cousins Chris, Nate and Katie.

I had the privilege of working with Jill in Grand Haven. She was passionate about her job, she gave so much to her patients and her patients loved her because she cared about them. I loved her sense of humor and her laugh was contagious . You left this world a better place because of your spirit and you will be missed. You fought this for a long time and now you are at rest. This isn't goodbye, this is see ya later!

For 40 years, I was blessed to have Jill as my best friend. I always appreciated her warmth, compassion, and fun sense of humor. She loved nature´s beauty, and looked for the silver lining in life situations. Jill`s love and uplifting encouragement were truly gifts. The way she lived her life, sets a strong example; to carry on, do our best, and strive to keep a positive thought. My heart felt condolences to Jill`s wonderful family. You have always been everything to her.
