Jill L. Dash

I was just looking for kids I went to high school with and ran into a Facebook posting that Jill had died. For me Jill Dash lives on in memory in the way that Lakeview High School in Decatur, Illinois, does, and everyone from the Class of '71. I just have nothing but fond memories of her, as she always seemed so stable to my skitzy presence in school. I now live on an island in the Andaman Sea and so am not only far away in years from those days at Lakeview in Decatur, but also literally...

My prayers and condolences go out to Jill's family. I am so sad to hear of her passing. Kill and I were best friends since we were 5 years old. We lived down the street from each other, went to school together, had sleep overs, walked the lake, sledded down the hill in back of her house, ice-skated on the Lake, went to homecoming together, trick or treated together, I could go on and on ... I'm broken hearted to hear this sad news. Jill was my best friend... You will be greatly missed....
