Though we knew Jill for many years, it wasn't until she signed on to become our beloved Lola's dog sitter that we really got to know her...Jill was the only girl we trusted to care for our home and most importantly, our furry pal. Jill's love and affection and hilarious stories about what went on while we were gone confirmed my suspicions: Jill really could communicate with animals. And they knew it. It was Jill's best kept secret. I am certain, dear Jill, that Lola and every other critter...

Simply put, I am deeply saddened to hear of Jill's passing. I met Jill (with many others) at Ichabods Restaurant, a place where friendships lasted a life time, and many people gathered. They were the best of times! We were young and adventurous, and not quite sure where the rest of life was taking us, but we sure had fun in the meantime. I have a funny story about Jill. One day, when Jill came to work, with her usual bright smile and pleasantries with the customers, she ended her shift...

Jill and I were close friends and I loved her very much. If she ever spoke of me she would have referred to me as Cuckoo Head. Jill was beautiful inside and out and I will miss her friendship and laughter. To all of Jill's family and friends and to her ex-husband, his family and their friends, I am truly sorry for your loss.
