Jill Kidder

When I was a young teacher in Vancouver, I used to meet and chat with a lovely lady (Jill Kidder) in the staff room. At that time, I knew nothing about her. She wore thick sweaters and wool skirts in the summer time. She also was eccentric, knowledgeable and creative about a host of stuff. Much later I met her daughter Margot under very different circumstances, but Jill always remained a very special friend that excited me and caused me to think about things in so many different ways. ...

Michael, my condolences for the loss of your mother. Growing up with you in Vancouver, I know that you, your brothers and sisters are her legacy and I think she did a good job. My thoughts are with you and your family.

The love and respect I feel for Jill goes on and on forever. She was an amazing woman with the biggest heart I've ever known. Her legacy to us is her love and the examples she set for us all. I wish her peace and thank her for her kindness. All my love to the family - Marg
