Not sure what to say?

I shared a mask making class with Jill a few years ago in Pickens SC. She made beautiful masks. So much talent and accomplishment. I will miss her. Thats a great photo of her.

I was stunned to hear just today that Jill had passed. Jill and I were fast friends at Moore College. We were both very interested in Maya culture. I attended several of her classes at Moore and she was a fan of my Mayan influenced art work. We kept in touch after we retired in 2010 but now I feel, not enough. I will miss her terribly. Late as it may be now, I will light a candle and think about her today and grieve for quite some time. I was one of the first to read "The Natural History of...

I am so sorry to hear Jill has passed. We had many wonderful and interesting conversations over the past few years. She was a special person. I will miss our parking lot lunches and discussions. She was one of the most brilliant people I've ever known. Such a talented artist.

To Jill's family and friends, I extend my deepest condolences. Jill was a professor of mine in Illinois many years ago. She was a wonderful, brilliant, humorous instructor who pushed us beyond our boundaries. We learned not to accept what we thought we saw. We were encouraged to look beyond what was in front of us and see what was there. I am forever indebted to Jill for that push. My deepest gratitude to Jill for a life well lived.

Jill and I were classmates at University High School and became very good friends. She was such a wonderful person, smart and beautiful person. I was so happy to see her at our class reunion in 2015 in Laramie, WY. She was even funny and we joked and talked with our other classmates. She will be missed by us who went to school with her many years ago. Rest in peace, Jill. Diann (Prahl) Ginther, Laramie, WY

I am so sorry to hear of Jill's passing. When I last spoke to her she was enjoying a full and enriching intellectual life, so excited about the new book she was writing and full of enthusiasm for Latin and all the implications she had discovered it had in a well-known masterpiece. She always had a good story to tell about her experiences and a great sense of humor. She made such enriching contributions to the Latin classes! She was able to look at a mosaic from Pompeii that we were...

We had just recently met Jill. She had joined our Dynamic Aging class via Zoom through Osher Life Long Institute at Furman University. She was an active and sharp participant. We observed she was on oxygen but she did not share any health challenges with us directly. She may have shared more details in the small breakout sharings session we conduct with our Zoom class so I may have missed something. My husband and I are shocked at this news. We were looking forward to knowing Jill better and...

Dr. Jill taught several classes on art history at OLLI. I had the pleasure of being her classroom liaison for one of them and we got to know each other. She was such a good teacher and the classes were phenomenal. Every time I would see her in a wheelchair, I would talk to her for quite a while. We all that were in the classes really enjoyed her talks and will miss her. My condolences go out to all of her family and and close friends. I am very sorry for your loss. She was such a...
