WEST SPRINGFIELD-Jill M. Passerini, 53, died Thursday at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Clifton, NJ, grew up in Agawam and has lived in West Springfield for 20 years. Jill worked for Stop and Shop for 21 years where she met lifelong friend, Tammy.  Jill enjoyed chatting and updating friends about her family while carefully bagging their groceries.  Always making sure none of the  bags were too heavy.  She enjoyed many pastimes including hook rug, puzzles, croqueting, word search, scrap booking and walking her dog.  She also enjoyed bowling with UNICO and the many field trips they took.  She was predeceased by her mom Judith (Salerno) Passerini in 1996. She leaves her dad Harold Passerini, two brothers Jay Passerini of Agawam and Michael Passerini and his wife Deborah of Feeding Hills, her niece Jenna Passerini and nephews Johnny, Mario, Niko, Anthony and Angelo Passerini. She also leaves her longtime caregiver Dee Blier, who she called “Gramma D”, her “sister” Patty and her beloved dog, Coco.   Jill left a smile and feeling of joy with everyone she encountered, always seeing the positive.  Jill was treated like an angel at Mercy Medical.  Cindy, Kelly, Patty and Dr. Kirtani are amazing people.  Calling hours will be Sunday at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home from 2:00 to 4:30pm, immediately followed by services at the funeral home.    Burial will be at a later date.
