Jill Lynn Ulmer

Jill Lynn Ulmer died June 26, 2009, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born in Fayetteville on May 24, 1983, to Jim and Kay Ulmer of Springdale, Arkansas. Jill grew up in Springdale, attended Springdale public schools, and graduated from Springdale High School in 2001. She graduated from the University of Arkansas (Fayetteville) with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2007. Jill is survived by her parents, Jim and Kay Ulmer of Springdale; brother, Joel Ulmer and his wife Stefanie of Fort Worth, Texas, and their children, Adam and Hannan Jichi and Seth Ulmer; sister Jessica Ulmer, stationed with the U.S. Army at Ft. Stewart, GA; maternal grandmother, Vivian Cundall of Glenrock, WY. Others surviving Jill are her aunt and uncle, Joy and Wayne Wheeler of Kimberling City, MO; uncle, Truman Cundall of Wheatland, WY; aunt and uncle, Trina and Bill Schellinger of Douglas, WY, and numerous cousins in Wyoming, Missouri, and Arkansas. Jill was a member of Robinson Avenue Church of Christ; she loved children and was a teacher in the Church classes for young children. She was a Girl Scout with Troop 242 of Springdale. Jill was planning to start a career in history education. Visitation is scheduled for 12 noon to 2 p.m., Thursday, July 2, at the Robinson Avenue Church of Christ, 1506 W. Robinson, Springdale. The funeral service starts at 2 p.m. at the Church, with Gary Frazier and Harry Fitzgerald officiating. Interment will follow at the Friendship Cemetery, with graveside services for family only.
