Dear Jim and family,
I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of your sweet Jillian, and as the father of two daughters, I can't even begin to imagine what you are going through and feeling right now. I read of her very impressive accomplishments at Cal on the crew team (I was an oarsman at Loyola), and of her trip to Lourdes, and found her to be a huge inspiration. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I never knew Jillian but I have heard so much about her. I was very sad when I found out Jillian had passed on. Even though I never knew Jillian, I felt a connection to her in many ways. My first connection was at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory and I took a prayer and spirituality class. My teacher was very close with Jillian and helped her get through this very tough time.
