Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Jim, your husband. I just read where he retired with North West Airlines. My husband, Lee, flew with North West out of Minneapolis, until the layoffs in 1970.
Again I am so sorry to hear of this. Just know you are in our prayers for love and support. Helen (Lindsey)Stephenson

Semper Fi!

What a wonderful man. Jim was so nice to our boys growing up. He was a big piece of our lives. We will miss you Neighbor Jim.

My thoughts are with you all during this time off loss. I only have the best of memories of Jim. I am so glad that he allowed Erica to drive to Alaska with me in that old car. I am even happier that the entire Barbosa family fell in love with Alaska after that. Again, thinking of you all and your loss.

Marlys,
I had the good fortune to fly at Alemeda with Jim in the USMC reserve during the 60s-70s. as well as being a NWA pilot with him after the final merger of his career. I always truly enjoyed his ability to work his way through any circumstance with good humor and common sense. I shall miss him.

I truly have missed our banter over politics, the military, and firearms. Jim's contagious smile and laugh was always a bright spot in the day. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

I can remember when you were first dating Jim. We worked together at the telephone company. Jim was a couple years ahead of me in school. I boarded a plane one day and there he was, the pilot. God bless you and your family during this time. your's was a marriage made in Heaven.

Marlys, I was saddened to hear about Jim. I recall many memories from Cherry Point to the Bay Area to Redding. He was a fine man. I always enjoyed knowing him.

So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I can remember the days of him flying his military jet over the houses on Ridge Drive, where his parents lived.
