Not sure what to say?

I was touched to read Don Pisker's comments on Jim Beauchamp.I remember Don when he played in Syracuse in 1979-80. I was a director of the Syracuse Chiefs Knothole Club when i met Jim in 1982 when he managed the Chiefs for three seasons. His son Kash also played in Syracuse for his father. I remember being in his office discussing the Chiefs M.V.P. award.I had a player in mind but jim would tell me otherwise because he saw more of a player besides what he did on the field.I wish you peace...

To the Beauchamp family ,I am sorry for your loss. I played for Jim in 1978 in Charleston ,where we were the International League Champions .He knew how to get the best out of his players. As a person I really liked him, he was tough but fair . Heck I can'tell tell you anything you don'the know about him . I have fond memories of him. He and you all are in my prayers.

Although it's been almost 7 years since Jim went home to be with our Lord it sometimes feels like yesterday . I was just reading messages again and I appreciate all of them so much , they still touch my heart and they are such a testament to the man he was. Our younger grandchildren can now get a glimpse of their grand-dad by reading these. I thank you !

A Cardinal fan who will always remember the controversial (remember yellow line)pinch hit grand slam Jim hit to win game for the Cards.

Miss you Daddy
