Not sure what to say?

I first met "Bubs" 52 years ago when recruiting baseball players in southern Ohio. We became friends and have stayed in contact for all these years. Sadly, I just learned of his passing this past June. Jim was a great friend, a
terrific youth baseball coach and someone I was proud to have known in my life. Take care Jim and coach the
heavenly ballplayers to be the best they can be....God Bless You "Bubs"

Such a fun loving and interesting guy. It is hard to imagine this world without him.

I knew Bubs from our years volunteering at Roger Bacon High School. His skills organizing a successful Sports Stag were amazing. Condolences and prayers.

Bubs will be missed at White Oak Gardens! He always brought the dogs up to see us. He always had a story! Sending prayers.

I’ve known Bubs for a long time . He gave me the opportunity to travel as a kid in the 70 s for baseball that I would never have gotten if I wasn’t on storm club . He taught me what being on time and be a team member and how that help me later in life .
Thanks Bubs .

Bubs got so many young people involved in the St Francis Seraph Ministries and invited people of all ages to serve on the soup kitchen line....forever impacting their understanding of service, hospitality, and humility. No matter how big or small (or how little advanced notice!), Bubs always said YES to taking on more volunteers to serve and getting creative with how to teach them about poverty and food insecurity. I will always appreciate his spirit and humor. May he rest in peace.

I have not had the opportunity to speak to Bubs in likely 20+ years, but would have loved to say thank you one more time. Hands down, Bubs was one of the best coaches I ever played for. He had the ability to individually motivate realize how to get the most out of every player. In addition to coaching baseball myself now, I teach corporate management classes. Crazy how years later, the life lessons learned from baseball translate to the real world. I am forever grateful and hope to pass...
