When I became friends with Jim in high school it was like getting a second family. I have had a tear in my eye every day for the past 2 weeks. You know what Jim would call me ! He was one of a kind. The best !

I knew Jim briefly in the early 1990's when was the policeman-on-duty(predecessor to Ron Keller) at the Donatos store in Clintonville where I worked for two years. Needless to say, Jim was a humble, modest, and down-to-earth guy who took his job seriously, and was a true credit to the law enforcement profession. Law enforcement is a profession which is taken for granted all too often.

Our hearts go out to you Sue and your family! Jim was a very special man and positively touched so many lives! You both have been on such a journey and you witnessed such steadfast care and love for Jim while facing this devastating disease together. Always know we care! Sue, Kevin and Tyler,
Words can not express our sadness over your loss. Heaven has welcomed a man who never met a stranger; a man with a quick wit and a sparkle in his eye. Please hold close the memories you have of a wonderful and loving husband and father. We hope you find peace in knowing how much he loved each of you.

Dick, My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family at this terrible time. I know what it is like to have a sibling pass. The pain will never go away but hopefully it will become easier to deal with. I feel for ya brother.
