I had known Jim when we all went to Locust Bayou Grade School (Camden, AR). I was a few years older. I was a year or maybe two years older than his brother David.
My deepest sympathy to his family.

Coach Coston will be greatly missed. He cared about his students and tried to help anytime he could. I will always remember him.

My Prayers are with you and your family. You will be greatly missed.

I met Jim as an organizer with JCAFT. He was a special person who loved his job and family. I'll remember our talks during my school visits. He will be missed by many people.

To all of Coach Coston's family and friends, my deepest sympathy. I feel I was a good friend of Coach Coston's, being a student and acquaintance of his during my high school days, and some time after. I knew coach as a heart-felt, genuine man who cared for his family, friends and students with as much passion as I have ever witnessed. This was my first year to have Coach Coston as a teacher ,but I did enjoy his class. I wish I could have gotten to know a little more. To his family I will continue to keep you in my prayers

Anne, you and your family will be in our prayers. Mandy adored Jim as her very favorite teacher and friend. She learned very much from him. Terrell and myself have always enjoyed being with you both.
