Not sure what to say?

May I send you my sincerest condolences for your loss of Mr Jim and Terry Fitzgerald. I used to sell veggies at the farmers market in Bayfield 20 years ago and they were always there with help and guidance. We always talked about gardening. Thank you both very much for all you did for so many others. May comfort come to those who suffer from the loss.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Janine, Gretchen and families, my sincere condolences for the loss of your dear parents. I was an adult Sociology student at FLC 1993-1996. Jim was one of my professors. I loved his character, and spent time with both he and Terry at their farm. I also went on a camping trip with a class. I had great admiration for your parents and have always remembered them. I loved my Durango experience and the faculty in the Sociology department was a huge part of it. Bless you all, Annette Freiburger,...

I'll never forget that day in the FLC library when Jim came up to me and said, "I'm leading a study abroad program in Ecuador. Why aren't you signed up?" Somehow I managed to get everything together and go on that program, and I've never regretted it. I guess he saw something in me that made him think I would benefit from the experience, and he was right. (Gretchen and Janine were on that trip too - I don't suppose they remember me.) My condolences to the family.

I had Jim as a professor at the Fort. I have fond memories of him and great memories of stimulating class discussions! He was proud of his "chunks" and was decades ahead in the local farming efforts and goals. My condolences to his family.

A beautiful tribute to a hard working couple who spent their lives helping others. They truly deserve to rest in peace! Irene Wulf (fellow PCV)

Our family will treasure the memories of working with Jim and Terry in ecological farming with draft horses long before it was "cool." They were always kind and willing to share their time and knowledge with our kids and all the members of the draft horse club. May they rest in peace.
