Not sure what to say?

Skipper,
You always had time for me and were kind. I think of you often. RIP Colonel Tony Atlas

I wrote a book called Wasted Youth. It is not about baseball in particular but chapter #7 "Hero's and Villain's" tell the story of the effects Jim Fregosi had on a young boy's life. If anyone from the Fregosi family wants to read it I can send you a copy or you can get it at Amazon. Jimmy was my life from the time I was 6 years old in 1961 and all through my childhood he was and still is the only true idol i have ever had. I would love for you to read it. RIP #11 you will never be forgotten...

my name is bob harris met jim while i was bartending at a private country club in coral springs, fl. in the mid 70's. he met my son bobby and was interested in him as a ball player. last time i saw jim was at wrigley while he was managing the phils. truly a wonderful man. i was reminded of him during the 6th game of the 2016 world series. today is all souls day and i will pray for jim. miss you jimmy. God bless you and your family.

Still think of him often. He is in our prayers as are you and the rest of the family

I met Jim Fergosi when I was at my friends house in Anaheim trying to change my tire with the jack between myself and the tire and trying to pull the tire off! I looked over my shoulder and Feergosi was running toward me at top speed and made it just in time before the car and tire fell on top of me. I asked my friend Jennifer Harper how did he run so fast--her reply: "That's Jim Fergosi, short stop for the Anaheim Angels!"

11 angel legend

Jim Fregosi was one of my favorite players of all times. He was very personable with fans and just a very lovable looking man. Eventhough I live in TEXAS, I was originally a Califonian and he will always be an Angel to me. I can just imagine the Dream Team he is joining upstairs. God bless him. My heart goes out to his family. He was definitely one of the best.
