Not sure what to say?

Jim Gibbons was a terrific friend of mine. I recall on my arrival in Vancouver when he worked at Granville Savings how I was approved for a mortgage in about 10 minutes, and this allowed me to complete a purchase in North Vancouver. Jim and I had a chuckle 3 months later when the property purchased had appreciated so rapidly. I remember golfing with Jim in Pitt Meadows in early august one year when his bright mind noted how leaves were turning and the fall and winter season was upon us...

Jim is and will always be alive in my heart and memories. He was a mentor who inspired and guided me to build incredible strength and passion for what I do. He was one of the most caring leaders that I have ever had the pleasure to work with. While he was so heavily driven and passionate as a business man, he always led with example by showing the importance of spending time with family. I considered myself blessed for having the opportunity to meet and share valuable moments with Jim and his...

Jim was one of the best guys I've ever known. He was a great friend and business associate during my years in Vancouver. I am so sorry to hear to hear this news.

Hello Iriss,

So sorry to hear about this. Jim was definitely an inspiration to many many people.

As others have mentioned we did have some amazing times at JJ and Co in the 70's. I remember selling with him in the very early 70's and ending our evening a few nights a week at the Winnipeg Inn sharing a bottle of Aspe Spumonte (his favorite at the time) and comparing notes. I have one special memory of being stuck in a snow drift on Inkster Blvd, talking to him, on a...

Wanted to share my feeling of the loss of a great friend and inspirational person i knew from the JJGibbons days. I have shared my stories with Jim over the years to my son many times as he is in real estate now. Jim has always been a huge part of our success in real estate. I truly was shocked to hear of his passing. I didnt know you Iriss but he was a great friend of mine and i truly loved him. He always called me SHOOTER. I will never forget his guiding light on my future. I...

I am so sorry for your loss Iriss and family. Jim was an amazing man. So full of life.

I worked with Jim from the beginning of The Club and I was so inspired by his passion, vision and drive. He changed and touched my life and many others. I am sad that he gone way too soon.

I loved the Time after Time video that was used at the beginning of the Club. I always loved those words and I did not realize that those were co written by Jim, though not surprising. I have and...

We would love it when Jim would visit Whistler, fill us with wonder, and tell us of secret plans that were about to make Club Intrawest even more amazing. I loved working with Him and am so sorry for your loss.

So so saddened at this news. We have so many wonderful memories of you in our teens and early 20s and still think of you driving a Volkswagon beetle and skiing Falcon Lake. My deepest condolences to your loving family.
