To the Gosnell Family,
The 1st thing that comes to my mind when I think of Coach is "one of a kind"! Coach was always there for everybody and anybody at a time when they were in need. There were lots of great people in Pine Hills back in the day, but there were none better than the "3 Amigos" (Coach Gosnell, Max Wyman & Coach Pennington"). Like others have said before me "Gos is in the Big Sky checking out fishing spots and watching baseball games & LOVING IT"!
"Lots of Love"...

Dear Cookie,
I was sorry to hear of the loss of your father. He was an admired and much-loved figure in the Evans community. I hope all the memories of him will bring you and your family comfort in the days to come - Diane Gehrman O'Halloran Evans Class of '71.

Dear Cookie and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of the "Gos". I have so many happy memories of being around him for the three short years at Evans. He was a true man of character and lived it everyday. Will never forget and even still today use his favorite saying when he was aggravated at you, "boy you have been playen ball for fifteen yars". It also was my pleasure to be at the surprise birthday party at the river house. He will always be with me.
He has gone to...

Dear Cookie and Family,
Coach was one of my favorites. I too went into coaching and teaching because of Coach's influence. He was a great baseball coach and very humorous. He was a pillar for the Pine Hills community! He was like a Dad to me. The good news is that we will all see him again someday! I'm sure he has already fished somewhere up there. My deepest condolences to your family! Coach Gosnell was an awesome man! He will be sorely missed but we have the great hope of...

To the Gosnell Family. It was with sadness that I read today of the passing of a legend , coach, teacher, instructor, husband, and father. I have such good memeries of the era of Gos, Max Wyman, Coach Pennington, coach Tapia and those Evans powerhouse teams. He was instrumental in the development of countless young people in the Pine Hills community. My prayers are with you at this difficult time. dan steele

To the Gosnell family,
Please accept my sincere sympathy on the passing of "Coach". Next to my dad, Coach and Max Wyman were two of the biggest influences in my life. As a matter of fact, I also entered into the coaching profession because of these influences. My biggest regret is not knowing that Coach resided in Gray, Tn. as I am currently coaching in Sevierville, Tn. I would have truly cherished visiting with coach. Please accept my condolences.
