Jim and Deb you both such a loving couple. Your deep faith and ability to transfer the faith to everyday life was such an addition to our group. When you joined our renew group,I looked forward to Jim's ability to be serious but joking at the same time. We did not see you often, but both Larry and I always had you on our mind. There are no words for losing someone you love deeply, but I think of you often as you start this new journey.

Jim served many roles in life but to me he was a mentor before I even knew what that meant. He was able to do lead without effort and say everything without speaking. Jim was a rare man that can touch hearts from afar regardless of the years between the memories. The world mourns the loss of a great man but it was heaven's gain and those of us fortunate enough to meet him again will rejoice.

Jim and I first met in the mid-60's before each of us left for the service. Our friendship rekindled after our return to civilian life. It was through Jim that I met and eventually married my wife Claudia. We were so blessed having Jim in our lives. Rest in peace my friend.

'really, all there is is love". Classic Jim. I only knew him the last 5,6,7 years as he came into adoration and I left. We would sit and talk for twenty minutes or so. He always asked how my wife and daughter were. He prayed with me, for me when I lost my mother and when I lost my son. I will always keep him and your family in my prayers.

To Deb and Family, I had known Jim for a number of years and we kept touch on Facebook. He was my prayer warrior and I called on him many times. We met in Batesville and my mom corresponded with him during his cancer treatments. Her name was Marie Zimmerman and he told me he still had the poem she sent him. My sister took him to an OSU game one time. May God hold you tight as you go through this time. Judy Seel Brown.

I had the pleasure working with Jim for a long time ,he was one of the good guys he will truly be missed god bless him and his family.

All of my family thought so highly and affectionately of Jim. His genuine qualities shone in his humility, transparency, faithfulness and humor. Jim quietly set a great example for those around him. He was a student of life. We will not forget Jim Harris.

I have known Jim for many years, worked with him at Wixom on the Chassis team and after he retired we remained great friends on Face Book messaging each other in early morning hours. He will be missed as a great friend. My prayers and thoughts go out to the family, RIP Jim...
