Jim Hartz was an interesting friend- we worked together in creating the first website for Historic Christ Church, Alexandria, Virginia. As I recall he indicated he had wanted to be a Dr. He told me about his work at the Will Rogers Museum in Oklahoma, his native state. RIP

Celebrating the life of Jim Hartz was an American personality, columnist and reported during the mid-and late-1970s. At age 24, he was the youngest correspondent NBC had ever hired. Hartz became best known to a national the audience for a two-year position as the co-host of Today show, along with Barbara Walters. He will be missed and never be forgotten. We all know he is in a good place now. Rest in Peace keep on reporting the news
