I was sorry to hear about the loss of your brother. I know from what Teresa has told me that you two were very close and he will be sorely missed by you and your family.

Mrs Higgs, I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Jim's passing. I remember all the times of him picking on us when we were at the office with momma. He was a wonderful man. Karen I am glad you had the opportunity to be with your parents over the past two months. I know over time you and your mother will share the precious memories of your father's final days. Meeting your family, I see where you get the foundation that makes you the treasure you are. Please take some time for yourself. I will continue to pray for you and your family.

I have very fond memories of Sherrif Higgs when I was coaching at Brewton Parker. I could always count on him to go the second mile with some of my players when they got into some mischief. Sherrif Higgs was a good friend of Brewton Parker athletics.

Dear Family,
Mr. Jim was a wonderful man, who was thought highly of by my family and I. He will be greatly missed, but know that we are praying for strength and comfort for all of you in this most difficult of times. May God bless and keep each of you!

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. My father John Howard Marcum & Jim were best of friends. Jim was a great friend to all my family. Also he was a great friend to the Griggers family. I know that he will be missed. We are as close as the phone if you need us.

Dear Higgs Family
I was very sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Jim was a good friend to my father when they were at Dixon Pontiac. He was there for our family when my Dad was taken ill and passed away.He was one of two men to take my Dad to the hospital at that time. I have thought of him often and I am still greatful for his care and friendship for my Dad.I will keep you all in my prayers as I know the Loss of a Father very well.
