Both Jim and I served in the Air Force with the United States Air Force Security Service (USAFSS). Our first assignment was in Trabzon, Turkey during 1961. The next time our paths crossed was in Darmstadt, Germany from 1965 thru 1968. During the early 70's I was stationed at Offutt AFB, NE as a crewmember on RC135's and we often flew missions that required us to land in Kadena AFB, Okinawa, Japan where Jim and his family were stationed.
