Not sure what to say?

My favorite sports reporter of all time. I miss your wit and charm .

we loved your coverage of golf, everyone just loved you. The people your interviewed, you made them so important. Like you loved them yourself.
We will miss you. Everyone loved your comments, they
were so sincere. Will miss you, Ruth and Duncan Soutar

Sad. I grew up listening to him on radio and tv. Tremendously talented man.

Carol, I don't know if you will remember me but I was your neighbor in North Forest. I am Rebecca Ames. I just heard about Jim and my heart goes out to you. I am so very sorry for your loss.........

I grew up reading Jim in the newspaper and then watching him on Channel 11. It was always a treat reading his writing or watching him on TV. I moved away from Atlanta over 20 years ago and, on those occasions when I saw him on television in the years since, appreciated the chance to hear, once again, his well-crafted words and enjoy the evident warmth in his appreciation of sport itself and how sport enriched the lives of so many.

My sympathies to his friends and family

The Huber family is in my heart and prayers. Many fond memories from high school and junior college linger. Through Facebook, Jim and I reconnected. Our lives were touched through prayer when Carol was so ill and our daughter suffered a heart attack. This is just one example of how Jim's heart would grow so that there was room for everyone! Thanks Carol for sharing the "love of your life."

Jim was a unassuming person who treated
everyone with respect and honesty. He
was an excellent announcer who analyzed golf with the best of them. Jim will be missed by family and friends.
