Jimmie was what is referred to as a whole person. He was someone who had a meaningful life, a purposeful life and an equally, rewarding life. He was a well-shaped and educated individual and an accomplished man. And in the end, it could be said, in all truth, that Jimmie had an existence that was worth living.

Jimmie hired me at the First Tennessee Bond Division in 1988, where I worked until retirement in 2021. His work ethic, sense of humor, and energy were a constant source of inspiration to me. He will always be my favorite boss. Thank you so much for the success of my career and most of all for the memories, Jimmie.
