Not sure what to say?

Laura, so sorry to hear about your Dad. He sure was a handsome man. After reading some of these memories sounds like you are a lot like he was. You need to just keep him in your heart and he will always be with you. After losing my Daddy this year I know its hard but he's always going to be there looking over you with his love and protection.

So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was the only reason I endured the move from Cherokee to Moreland after 8th grade at St. Joes. We all had a crush on him. Thinking of all of you at this time and remembering our neighborhood. Colleen Callahan

I am sorry to hear of Jim's passing . As a Sibley classmate, I remember Jim for his great smile and kind ways. We were in home room together. It is no surprise to read here that he became a man much like the young man I knew. My sincere condolences and prayers for all who love and miss Jim.

I knew Jim and his brother Jerry from our Sibley HS day's of the early 70's. Although I have not seen them for several years, it is heartbreaking to learn of Jim's passing. I remember Jim as a Gentle Giant sort of fellow who befriended all he met. Rest in peace old friend. My heart goes out to Jerry and the rest of the Mandel family. I am very sorry for your loss.

So many memories from Maple Lake when we were young.
Thoughts and prayers go out to the family at this time.

Jerry and Joan, we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayer during this difficult time! Love Uncle Kenny, Cynthia , Tom , Terese and Paula!

Dear Phyl and Family - my heart aches for your loss. I am so, so sad to read of Jim's passing. May the Lord be with you now and grant you peace, comfort and a lifetime of wonderful memories. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I was friends with Chris back in the 80's and was looking to buy a cool car. I ended up buying Jim's Impala SS convertible. I still own the car today and I think of him many times. He was very kind to me, and when ever he saw me cruising around WSP he would wave or we would stop and chat. He was kind, and a great carpenter. To the entire wonderful Mandel family, I am truly sorry for your loss.

Phyllis, Mike and Laura - Our deepest sympathies for your loss! We loved Jim and will miss him dearly. He was such a good neighbor and friend, always helping out wherever he could, always going above and beyond. Please be assured of our prayers during this difficult time.
