Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We met years ago while working on the Stentor at LFC, and I have so many memories of Jim. Such a kind person with such a great heart and a wonderful sense of humor - even as the whole staff was up all night editing the next issue of the Stentor!

Darryl, I just read Jim's obit again. Words can't really do justice to his great spirit and unique personality. I know how much you will miss him. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Darryl, So sorry for your loss - I was a long time friend of Jims. Even though we did not speak often I could always count on him to show up for the annual NCAA final basketball game party each year. Over the years we had many political debates, he was a great guy and I will certainly miss him. My prayers are with you and your family.

A longtime dear friend and a top-shelf journalist who cared -- deeply.

Thanks for being 100 percent you, James.

May your happy memories of Jim serve to comfort you in his absence. Until you are able...

Darryl, Very for your loss. What wonderful accomplishments Jim had. You are in my prayers.
