Knowing Jim McQueen

I only knew Jim for a small part of my life but the impact Jim has left on me will never be forgotten. Jim was more than just my father-in-law; Jim was also a mentor and a friend. Jim often would be there to give a word of encouragement and advice or offer support. It always seemed that whatever needed to be, Jim made it happen. From the smallest to the largest of things, Jim showed his compassion for his family by taking care of the little things that made...

I was so sorry to hear about your Dad. He was such a loving man. I would run in to him many years after we were all grown and he was always so nice. God Bless you all.

Uncle Jim had a massive personality and an even larger heart and he touched many lives. His interaction with kids was something to cherish --- I experienced that as a child and we witnissed it last fall when our youngest son, Quinn, bonded quickly with Uncle Jim during a visit. Quinn still talks about that meeting. We are fortunate to have known him.

Jim was a special person and will be missed. Condolences and heartfelt sympathy to all his family.

Jim always treated me as one of his own girls. He was always there for me. He taught me the importance of working hard to take care of your family. And Jim taught me how to have a good time! Mom and Jim have given me so many memories that I will cherish forever. The world was a better place with Jim in it. It will never be the same without him. He touched the lives of those he loved and those he had only met. Jim did the most important thing we can do here on earth and that is to love...

Joyce - thanks for sharing Uncle Jim with all of us. He gave the best hugs and kisses and would always make me feel like a special person when he was around. The smiles are endless when thinking about times we had with the two of you. Thanks!

Joyce, Julie, Jennie and Cheryl,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Although I didn't have many opportunities to see Uncle Jim over the past 25 years, I remember him as fun, hard-working and generous. He was always an encouragement to me and had a special way of making me feel important. He will certainly be missed.

Prayers and thoughts for your entire family

A circle is formed with family and friends and that circle grows with each one of us with our love and memories. No circle is broken, but we experience a few missing links as the years move on. We gain strength, and courage to hold the blessings of that circle together. You are a part of that circle and may you draw strength from our love and family. Jim is with us in our hearts and will always be most special to us all. He was loved by all...
