Dear Mr. Pierce,
I can't believe your gone! You were such an amazing producer! In your life time you played piano and produced some of the top legends including Tammy Wynette, Johnny Cash, and Merrill Haggert to name a few. I'm so glad I had the honor and privilege to have you as my friend and producer on my demo recordings.

Played bass for Jim. Always a pleasure to work for. He was kind and sincere. Always made sure you felt appreciated.

You will be missed.

Jim had a huge impact on my life from 1973 until forever. He was the kindest and most humble man I have ever known. He was indeed my best friend and confidant in comparison only to one other in this lifetime. Those that loved you knew how true, sincere, kind, loyal and, yes, talented you really were. Those that didn't, missed out. Thank you, my friend...you are on another journey now.

Sure gonna miss my buddy he was very sweet and kind man it don't seem real R I P my friend

I am very proud to call jim my friend. He was a true gentleman and loved everyone. He would help anyone. I lived at his home several times and he always welcomed me in. Anyone who didn't know him really missed out. If you were his friend, you know what I mean. RIP my friend. You will never be forgotten. We love you.
