Not sure what to say?

I worked with Jim in Portland, Oregon ,on the Forest Plan when he worked for the Department of Interior. He was a very smart, kind man. He treated all of the people he worked with, no matter their position in the organization, with respect and acknowledgement of their expertise. He made working on a tough, controversial Project with very short deadlines much more pleasant with his willingness to help in any way he could and good sense of humor. My condolences to his family on their loss.

I am so sorry to read of Jim´s passing. What a deeply talented and thoughtful colleague and gentleman. Safe travels, dear Jim.

My deepest sympathy to Lesley and family. I met Jim at work years ago and remained friends with him and Lesley throughout the years. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during these difficult times.

In Fall 2002, Aubert de Villaine signs Jim's cast!

Another illustrious member of the Princeton Class of 1960 has left us. May he rest in peace. He was kind enough to set up a Zoom call with our local D.C. area classmates; much appreciated.
