Not sure what to say?

Dear Mark and Jean,

What a wonderful man to know. He will be greatly missed in our neighborhood. It just won't be the same. He always had a smile and a wave for all of us as we went up the street. My children will forever have the memory of your Mother and Father welcoming them into their home and giving them candy.(sometimes 2 and 3 times a day) It sweeten's my heart to know that they are together again. Love and prayers to you and all of his family. Lorrie,Sutton,Valerie and Alexis...

I enjoyed knowing Jim at The Midland. It was a wonderful time there in the late 80's & early 90's.

Our family is feeling a deep loss with Jim's passing. He was a great friend and neighbor and a source of wisdom and humor. Our two boys looked to "Mr. Potter" as a very kind and giving man. He was the anchor of our court. I always enjoyed visiting with Jim and will miss his friendly wave. He is with Delores now. May God hold them dearly forever.

Dear Mark and Jean-

I am very sorry to learn of Jim's passing. He was a very good friend and I enjoyed working with him. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,

Jim and Erin Harster

My heart is breaking today.Mr Potter was my "go to" man.He helped me rebuild my mailbox,he always had twine and the technique to bundle yard waste. If I stepped out into my yard, I was greeted with"whatcha doin?"He was like a second Dad,the man I could run thoughts and plans by.He tutored the new neighbors to help them earn their citizenship and to help the daughter acclimate to school. There was always candy for the neighbor kids and of course, the infamous ship tattoo!I always called him Mr...
