My heartfelt condolences and prayers for the Rivera family. May God grant solace during this most challenging time. With Love & Prayers

Jim was my baseball idol and model growing up, and throughout my life. What a lucky kid I was to have Jim care about a kid he originally did not know. I saw him many times at games at Comiskey Park, he always took the time to invite me to the locker room before games, gave me autographed balls of the team, sat me in the dugout, got me tickets for the first game of the 1959 World Series, always got me special tickets to sit in the photo cages at the park, and even took me to the Yankees...

My heartfelt condolences and prayers to the family of Jim Rivera. Psalms 90: 10 shows how he lived a long life of special mightiness from God. Keep his many memories close in your hearts and minds and cherish them forever. May the comfort of God be with you all during this time of grief.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Sending my deepest condolences to the family. May you take comfort in knowing that your loved one is at peace. Ecclesiastes 9:5.

I followed his career, ate at Captains Cabin and often reflected how lucky I was that he cared. I fondly remember the New Years Eve parties where many of the ex White Sox would attend among them Minnie...

Rest in Peace
