Not sure what to say?

I wish I could bring Jim back for you. He was so very special and meant so much to so many people. He was such a lucky man to have you as his wife.Jim was so kind and helpful to those who were younger and had no father. Such kindness will never be forgotten. Please know that we all love you Pat.

he was the best person we have ever
know. Very quiet man but would listen to what ever. We both thought the world of him.

Jim Slota (aka) Mobil One was a man of many talents. Jim was always willing to help or give advice. Pat and I would sometimes refer to him as a bucket of knowledge. He was also very funny and fun to talk with. We will miss him very much.

Pat and family you are in our prayers during this time of sorrow. What a wonderful experience to have known Jim. We have a deep respect for his wisdem and appreciated his openess to share and give mechanical and boating advise. (Especially when we messed up and he had to hold back a chuckle at what novices we were.)

Pat so few people have the wonderful relationship you two enjoyed. It takes special people to understand that it takes being a friend as well as loving each other to...

I'm so sorry for your loss, Pat. I believe you and Jim were indeed soul mates. You had over 50 years of constant togetherness - more than most people ever get. It's going to be very hard for you, but you are strong and you will have many memories of good times and Jim's love for you to carry you through. I'm glad your family is nearby; they will need you, too. We haven't kept in touch very well, but I've always treasured the memories of our good times and want to be available and in touch...

We will miss our good times together, and your thoughtfulness and generosity and your friendship; we loved all the years together.

Love you always,

Marilyn & Darrel Moote

It has been years since I have actually seen and talked to Jim. I was just thinking of him on the day of his services. Not being aware of his passing at the time, I feel it was a spiritualy connection for sure. Jim, I miss our times together; Pat you are both in my prayers.

I feel I've lost my sole mate. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers.
