I just found the notice of Jim's death and want to express my heartfelt sympathy to his wife Pat and their family on the loss of a dear husband, Dad, Grandpa and friend. I knew Jim from the time he was a child growing up in Forest Grove Church and was at the table with Jim and Pat at our last class reunion. Mr. Smallegan was a kind neighbor to have while growing up, I have many fond memories of him. He always took the time to stop and talk to us when we were kids. I had the joy of seeing him at the Allendale Steam and Gas show a few years ago and we had a wonderful conversation about faith and family. Praying for your family.
