Not sure what to say?

Please accept my deepest sympathy to all of Jim's friends and family. The PGA of America has lost a valuable and cherished member and brother of its Association.

Jim's sweet spirit will remain at the Leavenworth Golf Course. His humor was contagious. He kept us all smiling, in spite of a bad golf game. Our sympathy to Jim's family. His beloved "golf family" will be missing him forever. Candace & Jay Hansen

I only knew Jim on-line through music but it was enough to have a profound effect on my life & work. His boundless encouragement, enthusiasm and kindness helped & inspired my music. I am glad that I saved most of his messages. I will treasure them even more now that he is gone. Bless you, Jim, and thank you for everything. It was an honor to be your friend.

Without Jim around in my early college days at CBC I might have never become a club pro and pass on life lessons learned from him. I hadn't talked to him for years but he would call and it was just like we had talked the day before.
Great guy, my thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Jim, it will never be the same without your humor and smile, I will always remember that about you every time I visit LGC. Thank you for being a good friend and also correcting my power fade. God bless you and your family.

Thanks Jimbo, you will always be the face of Leavenworth Golf. Not only were you a great friend, you were a mentor. Thanks Jim, watch out for St Peter, he's famous for his foot wedges

Jim was a super great guy with a unmatched sense of humor. Jim never met a stranger and managed to put a smile on everyone's face. He was thoughtful, helpful, happy with his work and a very dedicated Dad. We'll miss the vacant spot behind the desk that can never be filled by a more joyful person.
God Bless you Jim, and your family.
