As a retired pilot who thoroughly enjoyed the show and appreciated Jim's inspiration, instruction and love for his family, I was saddened by this news.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
may they be consoled by his memory.

I just found out that Jim passed. I loved that show and the Tweeto family. He was an amazing pilot, father and husband. Rest in peace and thanks for the inspiration.

So sorry to the family and my deepest condolences to the family. I really enjoyed watching the show, and he was a very smart man.

I have gotten up at 2:30 am just to watch, Flying Wild Alaska. Watching all the pilots, especially Jim, was so rewarding. He seemed to know everything about the 180. May God bless your family!

I only recently heard about Jim's passing. After watching flying wild Alaska I can't do anything but think of his family, to lose someone so special that seemed to touch a lot of hearts he will be missed

I did not know until today that Jim has passed away, my heart is broken! He was an inspiration to me and my husband as well as Ariel and Ferno and Ayla. I'm so sorry that you guys had to go through this! Prayers are with you always ❤
