Jim Van Beek

I admired the remarkable work that Jim accomplished as PLU´s Director of Admissions over several years. I too transitioned from the position of University Pastor 1977-1986 to Director of Development 1987-94. When Jim joined the PLU Development Office in 1991 we travelled many miles together and visited several donors in his early transition. It was a time when we shared rich life experiences and the joy of serving Pacific Lutheran University.

Jim had a very positive influence and presence during his years at PLU. He was interested in people. Cared, too. We will miss him.
