Not sure what to say?

I will always remember him it was the best job I ever had and he made that possible

Oh, I just saw this. Rest in peace Mr. Verbrugge! I have many fond memories of you and Mrs. V. from our years in Michigan and later when we came to visit you at the lake.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Jim from my days at the oil company. Many good memories .

Very sad for you loss. He was very nice person. Many years ago I hunted a small piece of wood directly in front of the cottage on Hamlin. I was just out of college and the very first year Jim came walking along the trail right toward me. He stopped and we talked. He knew I had shot a buck earlier and wanted to see it. He sat right down and continued talking. We had many things in common. I had moved to GR from Ludington. I had nephews in FHN. I knew exactly where his house was. From that...

Dear Bert and family: Wish you well . Love Mike

After teaching at the Vets Home with Bert, I mainly knew Jim through her. It's been 13 years since Tom and I enjoyed a stay at the cottage and got to know Jim personally. Tom will never drink a bottle of peach Fruit-2-O water without thinking of Jim. Bert, you and your whole family are in my thoughts as you grieve this loss. All my love.

Mrs. V, my dear former Girl Scout leader, I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you

Jim was the kind of friend you could always count on. We met years ago at KCCL and shot together for years. Then Jim took up big game hunting and we traveled together on many hunts as well. He had a heart of gold and we will miss him. He loved to interact with his friends and we played many jokes on each other. Rest In Peace old friend.. David and Alvera Kidder

My sister Debbie and I were just talking about Mr Verbrugge at Thanksgiving. He welcomed us to your lovely home when we gave Jeff a ride from MSU and made us killer vodka gimlets. We felt so grown up and cool! I don't know...he just struck a chord with us that we still talk about. Please know I'm thinking about you Bert and wishing you peace and sending love.
