Jim Walker

Jimmy was my mother's younger brother.

Met Jim over 20 years ago. He would always be willing to talk and listen. Jim had a very big heart. I tipped a few back with him. I will miss hi.

Our monthly business trips to Boise were not complete without a shoeshine from Jim. He remembered all the names in our group and kept us informed about what was happening in Boise. I had no idea about his past. He was an icon and a wonderful person.

Did business with Jim at the bank building and the Grove. He was very skilled and I always looked forward to visiting with him. RIP.

Jim spoke at our church when I was kid in the late 60's in Little Rock, Arkansas. My dad was a huge supporter of Jim during his troubled times in Arkansas. I found Jim again in 2021. He remembered my dad, the type of business he was in and the name of the pastor of our church. It was amazing. It was a pleasure knowing him for the last 15 months. I'll miss him. Wow. I knew Jim for years as one of the best shoeshiners and political advisors in town. I never knew the stories of his life. God bless you and your family, Jim. Boise is a lot less rich a place after your passing.
