Not sure what to say?

A dear friend, never to be forgotten~now sadly joined by Irene Holmes who from being a courier for him in UK became a close friend for many years.Ever in my thoughts, Alan

A dear friend of many years who is always remembered. I miss the banter and debates we had. I spent many happy hours with Jim as work colleague and just as friend. He touched many lives with his kindness and generosity over the years. My husband and I stayed with on many occasions. He loved Oscar Wildes saying "its better to travel than arrive". he was always happy on the road on in the air. Missed by so many for all sorts of reasons

Jim was a friend for over 37 years. We always had a wonderful time together in various parts of the world and compared notes on places we had both visited at different times. He was due to visit us in England when he became ill and I sorry he never saw our new home. He was a great raconteur with a wonderful turn of phrases that are still quoted and laughed about. A dear friend and business colleague. Still miss him after all this time as I am sure is the same for many

Sadness with the loss of a great man. Jim Whitelaw taught me to live without fear and grab life by the short hairs! Ok, he modeled that way of living for me, and I occasionally lived up to the challenge. He once told me that everyone needs to live in NYC at least once before they're 40. I did and as a result met my man Paul. I can't thank Jim enough for that bit of wisdom and so much more. He tried to teach me to be smart with my money too. That's a life-long lesson I've decided, and won't...

Robert, I first met Jim in the Fall of 1969 in Houston, through his partner Greg Chavez. In the 41 intervening years of our acquaintance, I truly can say that I never saw him happier than he was with you in all his life. Thank you so very much for bringing such pleasure and security to him. You are an angel, and you and Jim's family members and friends are in my prayers. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to assist.

Our sympathy to Robert and Jim's family. In memory of a friend, great raconteur, chef and multi talented person and the master of reinvention. We had known Jim for most of our adult life as a friend and business associate and will miss our debates and shared holidays. Irene and Alan Holmes,England

Dear Robert, We are sad for your loss. I met Jim only one time in July and felt like I had known him for years. What a great smile and sense of humor even in the face of his cancer battle. His appreciation for your caring spirit was quite evident.
May God grant you peace and serenity through the following days,
Love and hugs, Carol and Bill Case
