Not sure what to say?

Phyllis,

So sorry to hear about Jimmie's death. I heard about it through my sisters extended family and found the obit online today July 10. We were both kids(6th grade) when I move away from Pembroke but I remember Jimmie and his brothers as well as you.

Jimmie accomplished a lot in his life and I know you are proud of him.

Jim Jacobs

Jim was one of the best men ever to walk North Carolina ground. The love he gave all, the good he did for so many, the faith he inspired, the strength he shared, and the future he built for his people and all people will long live on. So we need not mourn his death; instead celebrate our dear friend's amazing life, his formidable stature, and the privilege we shared in knowing him. Phyllis, Chad, Jayme, you know this man's value. Be sure to teach Reece well! Much love from David Ball and...

Dearest Phyllis,
We are so sad to hear this news about Mr. Jimmie. Please know that you and your children and family are in our hearts and thoughts this day and everyday. The Lumbee Nation was so blessed to have him as a Leader. We will see you this weekend.
All of our Love,
Lucy, Stuart, Steve & Cari Lowry

Dear Mrs. Phyllis,

Please remember your loving husband is walking through the pearly gates and streets of gold, in such a beautiful glorious place. What a Blessing! Amen.

Jayme, I know this will be very hard, as I just went through this with the passing of my grandfather. Just remember how ready and at peace your dad is. His work on earth is done! And you all will be reunited again.

Reece Sweet pea, Understandable - you’re going to miss your grandfather,...

Hello all. Jayme, I remember how close you were to your dad. I will continue to pray for the family during this time. I pray God's peace upon your family.

Jim never knew this...but long ago our family nicknamed him "The Mafia Man". His suave demeanor, the "hair", the deep velvety voice, the cool "rides"....we thought he was so "smooth". :) I can remember hitchin' a ride home to Rob Co with him several times & his gracious sponsorship of me as a contestant in Miss Lumbee. He was a generous spirit with a wonderful zest for life - we feel lucky to have known him.
The Thomas Family

hello phylliss, this is wanda, sorry to hear about jimmy passing away, we will miss him a lot, thinking of you and your family during this time.

Phyllis, Chad, Jayme and Family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Jim was an absolute wonderful person. I met him 26 years ago while working at the Commission of Indian Affairs in Raleigh. Jim was such a nice and repectable person.... Always had a smile and always so professional. I saw Jim in March at Shelf's and hugged his neck... He had a huge smile with that beautiful white halo.... Jim will be missed....
Chad, thanks so much for conveying my message to Jim for me. I so...

Dear Phyllis, Chad and Jayme, My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. My heart is heavy with sadness of the loss of your loved one and a gentleman that I was honored to call my friend. Jim was my mentor, always sending me on the right road in my career and life choices. I'm sure I would not be where I am today without his guidance. He was one of the most caring people I have ever met in my life and I will miss him. I will see him again someday, but for now Godspeed my...
