It was great reading all the memories and condolences. Jimmie certainly led "a life well lived." I´ve been blessed to know, interview, record and work with dozens of stars over the years but Jimmie was the first I got to know. I was 14 and a huge fan. His fan club Director, Merry Stevens, arranged for me to meet him, his wife Colleen, and their two poodles, "Goneycomb" and "BeeBee." I loved his hits but enjoyed his folk albums.
