Joan, I'm sorry to see your brother has gone on to be with the angels. In time, hearing some of the songs you played together will fill you with beautiful memories instead of sorrow. Think of all the wonderful gospel music he's making up there now, with the finest band ever assembled. Your music friend from Lee's,

The world has lost One of a Kind. What a great friend! there was always fun to be had when Jimmy was at a rally or just hanging out around town.

I will remember cousin Jim as a soft spoken person with an easy smile.
Watching him play the drums inspired me to do the same. Our sympathy to the Wells family.

I was 3 years younger than my cousin Jim. I remember the first time I met him in Seward at uncle Speed's house. Jim had a 10-speed bike he had built and it was fast and light. I would say Jim was way ahead of his time and had a brilliant mind for things mechanical. He also played the drums at an early age and that was pretty cool to a young kid like me.
I'm sorry you were taken so young Jim Wells. You will be remembered and missed by your family and friends.
God's peace,
Galen Schmidt
