Not sure what to say?

For all those who have placed or will place a message of condolence into this Guest Book for my father, Jimmy L. Barnes, Sr., our family thanks you for your love and support. Dad’s life gave us a lot of love, laughter, and music. He had many friends and he was a good friend to many people. His passing has made us even more aware to appreciate and value the time we can spend with our families and friends. Dad’s greatest treasure on earth was his wife, Nina. This wonderful woman and Dad...

Ron & Wilma Frederick of Pensacola Florida wish to express their heartfelt condolences at the passing of Jimmy Barnes Sr. Through his family, we have experienced the love, wisdom and goodness of this wonderful husband and father. To Nina and the extended family, we acknowledge that love lives within each and forever.

We are so very sorry for the loss of your father. Just knowing what a wonder person Jim is and the loving husband he is to Gloria (both very special friends of ours), and having had the opportunity to have met Don, Mr. Jimmy Barnes had to have been a wonderful father. I also know this due to the many happy and caring comments Jim shared with us about his father. We are thinking of you and your family.

With our love and heartfelt sympathy,
Lynette and Rob, San Clemente, CA

We are so very sorry to hear of your loss, Mr. Barnes will be missed by all. I will specially miss all the waves, and smiles. Your neighbor Cathy Roth and family.

Dear Aunt Nina, Jimmy, Brenda, Don, Deanna, Jan, and the rest of the family,

We received the news of Uncle James' death with great sadness. We wish we were able to be there with you during this time to share the grief and to celebrate Uncle James' life. We were not able to be with him often, but I have so many wonderful memories of times we were together, from my childhood and as an adult. The love that he and Daddy shared touched me. What I will most remember about Uncle James...

I am so sorry for the loss you morn right now. Uncle James was such a great man with such a good heart. He taught me how to sing red hot momma the last time I got to visit with him. He is in a better place now. I just hope now the Lord is with you through this journey I know goodbyes are never easy.

Take Care and God Bless,
Stacy Rosacia

Dear Aunt Nina, Jimmy, Brenda, Don, Deanna, Jan and all the family,

We were sorry to hear that Uncle James passed away. Although we didn't see him often, we loved him and the dear uncle and man that he was. His family was important to him and he loved you all very much. He also showed deep concern and affection for us when we saw him at Daddy's funeral. We also loved Uncle James' great sense of humor, which was much like Daddy's. Daddy joked he would spend 2 hours trying to...

The loss of someone so close is difficult to bear. We share your grief.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I am so sorry for your loss.
