My heartfelt condolences to the Bates Family in the loss of your loved one. Please find comfort in knowing God is close to the brokenhearted. May God comfort your hearts during this difficult time and give you peace, strength and hope in the days ahead (Jeremiah 29:11,12).

I'm so very sorry about the loss of the love of your life, April. There really isn't anything we can say, just to let you know we'll be here for you in any way we can. Love you both so much and now Jim is free, to roam the Heavens, talk to all the family and friends gone before him. We lose him, and Heaven gains him. Just knowing Jim you could not help but love him; the man was a darling. I did not get to know his children but was privileged to witness the love between Jim and April. God truly put them together and God will keep them always in each other's hearts. I celebrate the life of Jimmy Bates; his courage, his humor, his strength and his love he shared with us all.
