Not sure what to say?

Pastor Jimmy served well. He will be missed. My condolences to his family and friends.

So saddened and heartbroken to hear about the passing of Jimmy. May God Bless Beverly and Family during the healing process of the loving memories which are very many. I remember when I first met Jimmy, Beverly, Lisa and Paul during the 1st years of ministry. I was honored by being of service to the Church by helping establish a database to reach out to the many who are part of the Journey Church Family that has grown as it is today, full of love, spirit of God, hope, peace, support,...

I first attended Journey several years ago while visiting my daughter. His messages were amazing and I always looked forward to hearing him every time I was in Raleigh. My daughter and son-in-law (Justin and Kara Jordan) are active members and would talk about the wonderful things that he did at that church. When my father-in-law died in April, Miss Judy sent me the most lovely card and I was so touched. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family and the Journey family.

That loud noise we just heard was our hearts breaking. No longer having Jimmey's laughter, kindness and leadership was a sad thought. Then we've realized we will always have him with us. His humor shared with us as a young boy. His knowledge, wisdom and humanity that he demmenstrated as a young man. The bright guiding light he shared with us as a man of Jesus. These are the loving memories he's left to us all, for always.

I have attended Journey Church for a few years now, after trying several I found my home here. Jimmy had a way of presenting a message that held my attention and I always learned from him. Sadly, I never got to actually meet him but felt as though I did. He will be so terribly missed! My prayers are with Beverly and Jimmys entire family!

Jimmy Carroll baptized me. Journey was the first church I attended when I moved to Raleigh in 2007. Jimmy was a gifted preacher and made an indelible impact on so many. My deepest condolences to his wife, son and Journey family.

I feel especially grateful for Jimmy to have begun his full-time ministry with me many years ago. Those years were replete with blessings, laughter and adventures. I loved him like a son. Lord may you now begin your comforting ministry to Beverly, Austin, his family and church. I will see you beyond the sunset.
