Not sure what to say?

To the Evert Family, my heart goes out to all of you at this sad time. Was always grateful your Dad taught me tennis and remember you all so fondly. My parents are both gone (just over the last few years)so know how you are feeling. They all had such wonderful lives and am sure we will all be together again someday.

Take Care. Respectfully, Stephanie Smith Leonard

Wonderful man...the soul of Holiday Park. RIP, Mr. Evert. If there's a heaven, you are there!

Jimmy Evert was the reason our family played tennis. He welcomed newbies and provided a wonderful path for junior players at holiday park. I will always remember his generosity and tournaments that were family oriented with a Friday night BBQ / potluck.
My first real racquet (not Kmart special) was given to me by Mr. Evert and it was so special to me. He was a very dedicated director who always had time for everyone at holiday park.
The last time I saw Jimmy, he was at sports...

I always admired how this family seemed to remain grounded and "normal" in the midst of the fame surrounding them. And the family was obviously led by strong and moral parents. RIP....job well done
